New Web Site

Photek are pleased to announce the launch of our new web site at www.photek.co.uk. The new web site retains the wealth of information on our products but organises this in a easy to find format with a clear, crisp graphical interface. Photek will continue to improve the new web site with an applications based area, making it easy to find the product you need and a forum for interactive discussion with Photek.

Optics and Photonics Conference, San Diego

Dr Robert Brooks will be presenting his poster on the 27th August 2007 at the SPIE Optics and Photonics conference in San Diego. The title of the poster is: Experimental data on the reflection and transmission spectral response of photocathodes.

New Laser Pulse Generator

Photek are pleased to announce the availability of our new laser pulse generator the LPG-1.

The LPG-1 laser pulse generator is designed for time resolved diagnostics of photomultipliers and image intensifiers. The LPG-1 can test both the time response of high speed photomultipliers and the gating speed of image intensifiers. The LPG-1 features a lens control which allows the beam to be de-focused and spread across the detector area and a variable width control for pulse widths between 50 ps to 800 ps.

Photonex 2007 Exhibition, Stand C21

Photek will be exhibiting at this years Photonex between the 17th and 18th October 2007 at Stoneleigh Park, Coventry.

Photek will be exhibiting their range of camera systems for photon detection. On show will be the HRPCS, Photek’s high resolution true photon counting camera system and the ICNSGC, Photek’s high speed gated camera system with a gate speed of 2ns. Photek staff will also be on hand to talk about our complete range of products including Image Intensifiers, Photomultipliers, Streak Tubes, Intensified Camera Systems, Gate Modules and HV Power Supplies.
